What are Dental Bridges?
Dental bridges are a great solution for missing teeth. This device can fill gaps from one or two missing teeth using artificial teeth supported by dental crowns or healthy teeth on either side of the gap. Dr. Jammal and his team may even provide patients with three or four missing teeth with dental bridges so long as the bridge is supported by dental implants. Dental bridges come with many benefits including:
- Enhances the aesthetics of your smile
- Addresses shifting teeth due to open gaps
- Improves the overall function of the teeth
- Natural-looking, long-lasting results
Dental Bridges vs. Dental Implants
When it comes to missing teeth, we believe that dental implants are generally the best option as they are considered the longest lasting treatment option available. Once healed, dental implants are fused to your own bone, which makes them very strong supports for dental bridges. Unlike natural teeth, dental implants cannot get cavities. This makes them a great alternative to dental bridges supported by natural teeth, which generally fail when cavities occur.
Dr. Jammal is proud to offer a variety of treatment options for missing teeth that suit each patient’s individual needs. To find out whether dental bridges or dental implants will be best for you, we encourage you to come in for a private consultation with Dr. Jammal and his expert team of dental professionals.
How are Dental Bridges Placed?
Your dental bridge will be placed by Dr. Jammal and his expert dental team in our comfortable office. Like dental crowns, dental bridge procedures typically require two separate office visits. At your first visit, Dr. Jammal will numb your treated area to ensure you’re comfortable. An impression will be made of your teeth and jaws so your dental bridge will fit seamlessly and comfortably. Dr. Jammal will then send your impressions off to be fabricated at our partnering lab. Once your dental bridge and artificial teeth are made, you’ll return for a second office visit where your new dental bridge will be cemented into place.
How Much Do Dental Bridges Cost?
The cost of your dental bridge will vary depending on the extent of treatment needed to help you achieve your healthiest smile. The best way to find out how much your dental bridge will cost is to come in for a private appointment with Dr. Daniel Jammal. In addition to working with most insurance providers, we are happy to offer flexible financing options through CareCredit®, Wells Fargo, and an in-house Smile Club Loyalty Plan.
